if you give them the authorization number they can just go online and spend it without actually purchasing the card.

no i know, but that's why selling them on ebay is silly.

how do you know the person isn't just going to send an empty card? you can't send the number, or it can be used online, and you can't prove that there is actually money on the card.

and the whole idea of buying a card, with no proof that cash is actually on there, for the same amount that the card is supposedly worth.. that's just silly!

(there's nothing wrong with selling off gift cards you can't use.. but it makes more sense to sell them locally, where you can at least prove that it's worth what you say it is)

this is clearly an auction that is illegal. Many of the PS3 auctions are being taken down because the retard sellers are shill bidding and for those who don't know what that is, it's where you make a false bid with a false account just to jack up the auction price. That one in particular, the bidders "thormaster3 and shakkit"...looks pretty fishy, but I do know quite a few of the auctions are being removed due to this haha silly idiots

yea dude ive seen many auctions go over 10gs with 0 feedback newly registered members winning them. cleary they are just messing with the seller. but "apparently" this auction was actually legit. legit in the sense that the winning bidder actually bidded that much. but was there some shill going on? most likely if u ask me but im not sure
