quarter ounce of coke, bag of mushrooms, eightball of K, two hits of acid, and a whole plethora of coloured pills. I'd been to one rave, didn't have a good time but my buddy Rodeo insisted I had to go to check out this shit he called drum n bass. Hooked ever since.

Same thing kat ^^
he dragged me out to summerbreaks in the pouring rain one year. I was like rave? whats that .. since it was in my town I was like ok why not. First rave, first time doing drugs, became hooked for all the wrong reasons.. soon after I wisened up and opend my eyes.

Pat(pennywise) took me to my first Static at cum,berland hall in Surrey in June 2000 when i was just 16 year's old and i've loved it ever since. At the time i was one of those people who thought raves were gay and just wanted to spend my evenings at the skatepark.
Over 6 year's later and i still attend the occasional party and love the music.

When I was 16 I snuck into my first rave. A buddy of mine had been telling me about them for a few months prior to that but he never got around to taking me so me and a girl friend decided to see what the hype was about.
I started going to lots of house parties, but it wasn't until about a year later that I fully got into going to actual raves.

curiosity killed the chat
my big bad older sister had these riddiculously good looking posters on the wall. i was always so curious where i could score some of my own. she never told me where to go though.... after wondering for a couple years i entered highschool and met skratch 1..... haha. he told me what a rave was and afterawhile he finally let me join him for kiss '04. mind-blowing. all of a sudden my other friends just seemed too white collared for me... till i brought them to a party. one big happy family.

JAMES, Spikeyluke and tripleD took me, mystique and hot@ss too our first 'rave' at douglas college in 2003.
At first I thought everyone was fucking weird..and danced like maniacs.. And I didnt like being around high people..And then we got high..and everything made sense. Apex 05 ruined raves for me..as much fun as I had.. I couldnt stand all the kids.. I seriously ran into a 14 year old I used to babysit..it was too bazaar..and I dont do drugs anymore.. I miss partying..but I dont miss little rave children =D

a new girl who moved from london england, in my new school in grade 12. we met became friends. she convinced me to go to Emotions in jan 1997 at the richmond hall. i have been partying ever since.

I'd been listening to "Techno" since 1991 and none of my Friends throughout High School as far as I knew didn't. So I never went to one as I had no idea about them. Met my buddy Jay in 2003... did E a few times with him and mentioned that I'd heard about Raves. He asked me what I was doing for New Years 2004, so we went to Twisted NYE 2004. Loved it! You know the rest.

A week before my first party, I was in victoria and picked up this flyer for a rave...Not because I knew anything about it or was into the music really, but because there were cute pictures of curious george all over it.
Afew days later, a friend of mine from highschool invited my best friend and I to this party, cur-e-ous at the palace at riverside because she figured we'd be the only ones in Aldergrove who'd be open enough to go to one and open to the music. We went, and continued going every weekend for a while. This was back in 1999 - and that rave flyer I had picked up in victoria was for this party...and I still have it too:D

I dont remember! Well, not totally.
I think I thought it was like a concert where I could hear the music I liked (Hey, I was young!) So I went to hear some DJs play music that I liked. And I was hoping to meet others who liked the same music as I did. I thought it was weird seeing so many people dressed up in costums and it was no where near halloween. But at the same time, it was so cool! lol I dont know. Things just went from there. Went to more raves to hear more music, and slowly got into the scene the more I went. Close to 10 years later and a couple hundred parties, here I am!
