*UPDATE* Saturday December 23rd - FNK annual Christmas fundraiser/charity drive

**UPDATE**

Thanks to the support of Pound for this event the sandwich and gift bag prep work will be done at

InterUrban Gallery
9 East Hastings St
Downtown Vancouver

We will be starting at 5pm so please head on down to that location!

Afterwards we'll head back to the gallery and party it up a bit!

**UPDATE**

This year instead of having a party to raise money for charity I am going to organize a food and gift handout to the homeless that night.

So similar to the last event I will be buying the items needed to make sandwiches and then go hand them out. However, this time around I'm also going to get small gift bags and fill them with socks/scarfs/gloves/whatever to help those less fortunate than us to make it through the winter.

If you are interested in helping me out with this event please let me know and I do ask that you please commit your time if you choose to help. As much as I understand that plans change, budgeting for a group of people to help then having 7-8 bodies not show up really impacts how much can be done.

If you also have any donations of clean, warm clothing please PM me and I'll arrange to come pick them up.

If you can help with food items and preperation please let me know as well.

What you can do right now is ask people you know if they have any warm clothing items they can donate. Or better yet... see if people you know can go buy and donate a package of sport socks.

It costs about the same amout of $$$ as what one would spend at Starbucks.

I will also ask around.. I know costco has socks for cheap.

I'll still be collecting food for the food bank like I do every year, but this time if you want to donate items other than food then blankets, gloves, new socks, etc. which we can hand out as part of the gift bags

I am accepting cash donations which will go to the sandwich items. I am probably going to hit up the same place that got me the items at his bulk cost so your money will go towards helping me pay for that.

I am 95% positive I will be attending this event again this year. Like last year I will send a mass email asking friends and family for support..whether money/clothing/food.


I get off work at 5:30 and will come straight over..any idea where the food prep will take place??? I also recommend anyone attending to dress warm because it was sooooo cold last year!! And I promise to be way more chipper this year!!! ;D

As for old clothes im not sure as big brothers called and i donated alot to them.
I am unsure if i can come to hand it out as for me and Nathan it all depends on babysitters.
I could deff. come help make the food and everything, since babysitter or not if i had to i could strap on the snuglie and shed be good.
