i'm just hoping lg actually put a decent battery in that phone

every lg i've ever had has ended up having a battery life of about an hour of talking after the phone has been used for about a year.

Gotta let that shit totally die b4 charging and take it off the charger as soon as its done charging.

Right now it lasts 4-5 days on a full charge, dependin on how much I yap.

Still the absolute best cell I've ever had.

that's encouraging. i never had a 4-5 day battery life on any of my lg's through normal use.

Don't ever deep cycle a lithium ion / polymer battery. Advanced batteries will last an order of magnitude longer if you shallow cycle it. Ideally run it at around 60% SOC and charge it again at around 35 - 40%. A lithium battery will probably do somewhere between 600 -1000 deep cycles but it can do thousands of shallow cycles.

motorola's been pretty lazy since the RAZR which, admittedly is probably the most populous phone out right now. if you want to see real innovation check out the HTC phones, or the high megapixel camera phones (the sony/ericsson one is fantastic)
