VW owners... help

I have a 06 Jetta and one of my instrument panel lights came on and I don't have an owner's manual. Shop isn't opened today and I wanna know what it means.

It's green and on the right side of the dash. Looks like a speedometer with a small arrow pointing to it on the upper left "corner" (the symbol is round).

My hero!!

I must have accidently bumped it when I got into the car or something.

Still don't get why they put cruise control in a standard.

It is the cruise control light.

Why they would put on in for a standard? It's there for the same reason as an automatic.

I guess you haven't done any long distance driving in that car yet.

No I haven't. I've never driven long distance before, but I still think cruise is dangerous in the sense that it slows people's reaction time if they need to suddenly brake. Just my opinion though.

Drive across the Saskatchewan and then try and say cruise control is dangerous, also cruise control helped me slow down and stop gettting tickets on the Coquihalla all the time. yes in the city cruise control is a waste of time but on a long trip its priceless.

Slow your reaction time if you need to brake?!?!?

What are you talking about? When you are in cruise control the only thing you focus on is stopping as the car is taking care of the acceleration.

Best time to use cruise control is when you have a cop behind you... put the car in 3rd gear, lock cruise control to 55kph and just sit back and watch out for yellow lights.
