I was hoping that it would be cold in january so the snowboarding season wouldn't end prematurely, so many years it starts off awesome and early and then gets waay too warm in jan to last very long.

Particularly when it comes to anything beyond a 4 day forecast.

I've noticed that as well, sometimes you see some very cold weather anticipated but it rarely pans out. You'd think they'd start to err on the side of caution over at the weather network.

Regardless, I think my $50 GC to Mark's Workwarehouse is going to be invested in some felt lined boots.

Presumably you meant the temp is supposed to drop 18 degrees, not that it's going to actually be -18.

As much as they can sometimes show some spastic values, it certainly looks like they're seeing something big on the radar.
