Friendster was even featured in some tech mag as "the next big online community" and it was susposed to be around for years as the main site.

Online community sites such as these are just fads that are gunna keep coming and going for years.

Holly crap... could ppl just pic one to stick too? I think myspace has made its mark for those trying to network, especially artists and pron stars. Ive recently been draged back into friendster as all my old high school buddies are on there. But F-Bomb, do I really have to do this thing too now?

haha. I actually just went and loged into Friendster after this post. I cant believe my account is still active after however many years.
Most of my friends on there havent been on since 2002.
Ill probably just delete my account.

I love the fact that you can tag friends, photos, items, etc and choose what you share and who you share it with, and I also love the fact that your profile is automatically private to everyone but those in your network (and you can make it visible to only friends, too)

Its kinda like myspace but you can go on webcam with your friend and etc etc etc.

You meet new people through webcam. But with that comes gross perverts too.

I think facebook started out as a university network, thats how I heard of it. Its only recently that you can join without a college email account. I've never used Myspace though.

ic......i barely use myspace....or any of those other online friends networks, i got tons from friends bugging me to join but i never really follow up with them. Every once in a while i add an updated photo on them :P
