Yeah man. I guarantee IMDB would have info on that before some FNK'er. People sign agreements while working on a film to secure that kind of information, don't they?

Snakes On A Plane was originally a working title, intended to be changed before release.

But the internet hype caught on to this movie about Snakes on a Plane with Samuel L. Jackson and the idea spread like wildfire. If they changed the name at that point it would have been a major marketing faux pas and they definitely would not have had the success they did with it.

As for Lady in the Water, M. Night Howeverthef*ckyouspellit is just a tool anyways. Uninventive titles are the least of my complaints with him.

for what it's worth, there's a direct to DVD movie called Snakes on a Train.
I dare you to watch the trailer and then say "this seems like a movie i want to see". youtube or google the trailer.
