i am making my lover a valentines card (cut out heart and gluing little squares of tissue paper to....pretty much the same valentine i made for my mom when i was in grade 2) and sending him for 1.5 hour massage (w/o release) and that's it!

And i don't hate on valentine's day at all, i have an even sappier reason as to why i dont think we need the holiday, which i will refrain from writing here. I just don't like the necklace, and yes, if i got it i would think its tacky but i'd probably keep it because it IS the thought that counts.

I always say a mix tape is the way to go but apparently people think getting a great gift = spending a lot of money. Money doesn't always say you care the most, cut out a paper heart and spend some time creating something with meaning, but yes i'm aware people want bling for vday.

Tara, shitting over something as trivial as a necklace because you think it is ugly is kind of harsh. To Myra, that necklace would represent everything that her and Scott are. A gift doesn't have to be original and it can be totally cliche, if the thought is coming from the right place.

You seem to be focusing on the gift itself instead of the meaning behind it. Which is what ANY GIFT should be about, the meaning.

I just read this afer i replied and yeah i think/feel everything you wrote here for the most part.

I didn't know this is a necklace myra is wanting from scott or any of the following, i know it's her style, but i'm pretty sure i've told her at some point how i dont like tiffany stuff esp. the bracelettes (FOR ME). I just don't like the heart necklace, i never said it wasn't a wonderful gift for someone else? I am firm believer that to each their own, which why i was expresing my opinion.

Sorry, i don't like the necklace FOR ME, but i KNOW (and i know myra know) that it would look amazing on HER.

I am thinking kama sutra book is a good part of the gift. I dunno though, I may want to save that for the birthday with the photos. Dear God.

And for Christmas I basically got him everything in the world that he didn't already have (and some stuff he had just more of it). I got him clothes, cologne, aftershave, pics of us, bluetooth headset, wireless mouse, etc.

I also had the idea of getting him a DVR or something similar, because he always misses his two favourite shows on Wednesday nights when he's at work.

It would be a lot easier if he wore jewelry, but he doesn't. The closest thing I could get him would be cuff links because he has to wear his suit to honour society events.

haha yea i love nathan so much, but 100 can be repetitive near the end.

I did 21 because theres that many good places in my house to put them, if i find more places for them, without them being to cluttered i will.
I want them spaced out.
Ima put a sign on the door that says 21 reasons.... so when he walks in he knows how many to look for :)

cuff links would be great i think, Something usefull, you can get some nice ones aswell.

Thats really cute! I thought of putting them up around the house, or on his tool box at work..but hes kind of a manly man..and I know its something he would want to read on his own time..probably alone. Heh =D
