I think his evolution has been great, especially when compared to the other snl cast members from his era.

Like atleast he isn't going the chevy chase/steve martin route of being the goofy old fuddy duddy dad for the rest of their career.
I think doing "artsy fartsy" films is far better than sub par family movies.
