no I meant for canadians to work in australia. you have to spend a minimum 3 months time working in a rural area (cus they're hurting for workers) then you can extend your visa to stay in oz for 2 years.

They changed it in 04 or 05 I think.

oh, ok.. well, still 12 months will give me enough time to get my shit together for my permanent resident application, i just mailed off my working holiday permit application yesterday, so fingers crossed! damn six weeks waiting period!!
