florida finally got rid of bertuzzi. i think he'll do well for the wings.

Dammit I wish we coulda got smyth somehow.... then we'd actually have 2 top lines, instead of just the sedins and a random jumble of other lines haha.

In fact, there's tons of players that I woulda liked to see on the canucks in those trades. Although politics/money were probably the reason we couldn't. I'm pretty amazed at how many fairly big ticket items got moved around!! Especially for nothing! Biron for a 2nd rounder etc *Bert for a draft pick LOL* wut a bum.

Thrashers gave up 1,2,3 round draft picks for Tkathuck, not really sure if that's a good trade I haven't been watchin him..

NY gave up a lot for a possible rental player.. basically 3 first round picks

I bet he's already told edmonton he's resigning in the summer

They got a prospect and a conditional first round pick for Bert. Thats not bad considering he has only played 7 games this year.

That will probably end up best bang for the buck of all the d-day trades.
