paranoia vs reality

first off - i'm from the states so i'm already a little more paranoid than normal but my question is... how the fuck do you know to trust someone?
I don't have a lot of trust built in because of crazy mistrust i've encountered in the last 10 years of my life. Even if you know you should trust someone
why is it so difficult to?

Random ass rant - thoughts?

Frankly, you can't. Putting your trust in someone is always a leap of faith. Of course, there are those with better track records than others, so it helps to get to know someone well before you decide to put your trust in them.

trust is something that has to be earned.

but if you want to step up the trust account you give that person some money to hold on to for you. if they still have the money in a week you know you can trust em.

make sure you mark the bills so that you know if they're the same ones that you leant to the person.

but don't tell the person that you have them tied up. cause then you know for sure that they won't do anything to your money.

dont throw drugs in the mix, weed included. Im not anti-weed or anything i smoke on the reg but it really does effect paranoia levels drastically, i've seen a few programs on television that showed how it affects people differently.

I have a biased list of who to trust and who not to.

My ex-GF and her BF is on that list.

Her ex husband's family is not.

My sister is on the list; I don't trust my brother-in-law's family. I also don't trust my eldest's niece's family.

My brother is on the list; he has a good job. He owes me plenty for doinking me on the head with that hoe when I was 2 and he was 3. I always get great Xmas and birthday gifts. :D

My mom is only on the list when she's not ODing on the herbal old medicine or drank too much green tea. Caffeine and ephedrine makes her loopy even at 78!

My dad is in an old age home. I trust him to give m a firm handshake.

Two of my friends are a brother and sister with schizophreniform syndromes, and I trust them more than the rich shrink who only dispenses meds, and never gives my friend therapy.

Trust your clan. To ensure people trust you, taper off from recreational drug use of any kind.

Avoid chronic users of drugs.

Seriously, since it is well know drugs are used as an escape from reality, would you trust someone who is always high?

I'd sooner trust my schizophrenic friend. At least, his meds are quality assured.
