anyone left unjaded?

hi, i just arrived back in my hometown (vancity) last month. was traveling for the last year and a half. turns out all my friends "out-grew" or are done with the "rave" scene because of various reasons. i still find the culture and music fantastic! and it just keeps getting better and better. i find i understand the music more and more and love the individuality rave culture represents. for me its always been about being yourself and having a good time with total freedom. i know there are a lot of "thug-wannabes" and that type at the scene but i dont think that should bother anyone. i still love seeing candy-kids and liquid-kids at parties no matter how old they are. seeing people dance their asses off no matter how "good" or "bad" they are. every party i go to i still get that same feeling. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! and its been going on 7 years. anyways, im practically new in town again and was just seeing if anyone out there would wanna chat it up sometime. leave your msn contact or add mine [email protected] if you want to. peacE!

ummmm, im not gonna lie, i use drugs. not that its your business or anything. i pop maybe 3-4 times a year. i guess thats enough to distort whats really happening....oh yess.......the scene does suck, what was i thinking. thank you for opening my eyes. i guess at 22 i should be wiser. time to get a mini-van, get stuck in menial labour, and complain about how everyone keeps me down. thank you.

Wow you sound to be really limiting yourself. The scene doesn't suck at all, it's thriving but not as you nor I remember. It alters and fits the generation of today. Regardless, by 22 I'd like to think you can at least open your eyes a little further beyond the raves and parties. Just the mere mention that you say it's "time to get a mini van and get suck in menial [sic] labor" and how everyone keeps you down.....Dude, you're a unique snowflake. I'm not saying this to patronize you, but know that you can make a positive fucking difference in the world.

This is now stretching beyond parties or raves...I'm challenging you to do something with your life. I'll be keeping my paws out for you.
