i'd say today's generation is a step up from yesterday's kids who wore price tags to school for popularity...

either way we're all branded cattle.


but yes, i would like to see more kids looking at the strength of their shoe sole, rather than the pretty logo etched on the side.

Younger generation and the 'disposable' mentality

Instead of starting a thread inside the IKEA one I'll ask the question here.

Do you think that our generation has been raised to bias against buying 'quality' goods which cost more money, but rather buy items of poorer quality and craftsmanship due to the fact we think 'Hell it's cheap, I'll just buy another one it if breaks'.

I think we do.
