As of now I'm looking for accommodation that has a roof and a shower ...I'm coming with 2 others and possibly a third who has yet to confirm. The arrival date is August 04/05 and the departure date is August 18th/19th. We'd be extremely fortunate if you could suggest a place
Budget is flexible depending on the type of accommodation.. 5 star isn't needed either... I want something thats nice, very close to things and reasonable in price...

I'll actually add to this situation by asking you for some advice on travel to ibiza. We're going to be flying into London in August and we're looking for the best route to ibiza (preferably the least expensive) I've thought about catching a train from Madrid to Barcelona and then Pitra (ferry) over to ibiza. In your personal opinion what's the best (cheapest) way to get there?

when you say 'close to things' are you aware how much variance there is in San Antonio, Playa Den Bossa, Ibiza town?
What kind of holiday are you looking at? 1. Beerfest with sluts2go - San Antonio 2. More of a clubbing experience with a more sophisticated crowd, not as manic and as much happening? - Playa Den Bossa 3. A fairly sophisticated experience with a cosmppolitan 'city' feel with quality restaurants/bars and close to best clubs? - Ibiza Town

www.go-fly.com www.bmi-baby.com I would say from your description that solution would cost you 1.5 times more than even a return direct flight from the London area average cost $250(US)....can't remember $(CA) -> £UK oops...

I had read up on this different so called "vibes" that were there and had a hard time narrowing it down. Out of that list the leading suggestions are 1 and 3. To me beerfest sounds good and city feel sounds great. Which area do you tend to invade?
I think we'll be renting a vehicle while were there so as long as it's not in the bush we will all be smiling. Does that help at all?

not really :) i wouldnt know which to choose for vacation and ive spent about 3 years there in total...well i reckon if you're all guys u will be happy in San Antonio...there lots going on there some good some bad, but all part of the experience...San Antonio mes think....its where the easiest women are for starters...sorry girlys sometimes we just got to get our priorities in order :)

Ok so we've decided to fly instead of trains and a ferry...
Thanks for the advice.. Ok so lets say we all vouched for San Antonio...I've got this handy little tour book (infoibiza) of what hotels are available. The only problem is prices aren't listed...Is the apt route cheaper?

no won't be cheaper than apartment, ok put it this way for a 1-bed apartment for 2 weeks i reckon you would be looking at least $1500 (CA) check out ibiza-spotlight.com they have late deals on hotels, can't vouch gor them though haven't used them.

That's ok, you've helped a ton...
I don't expect you to be MR Tourguide Ibiza :) I really appreciate the feedback and I think as long as we book a place in the next week we should be ok. I really want to avoid being stuck on the beach overnight :) We should definitely have a meet up once we're there and settled...
