I love the Chinese characters, Nat.

I can't wait until I get mine. My Dad passed away when I was 15 and I was VERY close to him and so I'm getting the Japanese symbol for "father" on my lower back. He wasn't Japanese but he studied Buddhism for awhile and he always admired the beauty of the Japanese language and culture.

I'd also like to get a red outline of a maple leaf, not filled in, either on my hip or ankle...somewhere easily hidden.

I was also thinking of encasing the Japanese character in a red rose somehow, because my Dad _loved_ red roses and so did I. But I'm not sure about that yet, and I can always add that in later.

about the maple leaf. I'd say hip, just cause ankle, you might regret it when you wear heals and what not.

I know I also want to get my name in Chinese tattooed right under my left breast, like going around under it. And when I have nice arms, eventually, I'll start tattooing that area.

Barcodes and maple leafs are very generic, typical, overplayed and boring.

I wanted a barcode a long time ago, but too many people have them, so I don't see the point in getting it anymore, except for the fact that I still believe everyone is just another number.

Maple leaves are so overused, good, nice, you have pride in your country, you are patriotic, wow, great. I would say get something a little bit more original and unique, something that reflects you more so than just some leaf that every other pride trouting Canadian has.

the chick who works at value vintage has justa cool tatto...
she has her ears stretched...so theres a big hole ya know??? and then she hasa window tatooed on tha other side of her ear so it looks like ur looking through a window...i wood neevr get it done msyelf but its a cool idea!!!

Yeah, When I went to T.O. i met some Aussie's and one was a tatto artist.(he was a fucking awsome tattoo artist too, HOLY SHIT) but yeha. they wont do them becuase of the line and how they tattoo ppl.. cause if they screew up there goes your tattoo... like if the goo too deep it till run and it they dont go deep enough it wont show up, blah blah blah.. so you would need someone that can kep the needle going the samedeepth throughout the entier tattoo... n'stuff.. also its hard to do straight lines... heh

i love my tattoos. i have 2 more i want and then i'll stop... they're addicting though.
one is a coverup that has to be done, the other i want is going to be a little snowflake, maybe a couple little snowflakes (cuz i love skiing), down low on the inside of my hipbone.

jovi, some artists tattoo barcodes, you just have to find them. each tattoo artist has their preference of things they do or don't do, like some won't do feet or hands, some do.
