a poem
the sleeping snorlax sweetly sings
a song which awakens the world of dreams the light lifts the seal from the swollen eyes as my body floats along the rhythmic river i would never be able to describe my cries the casing in which i hide suffocates me and smothers my screams, i flee to our world filled with memories and friendship and delicate kisses and the softest skin and a scent which intoxicates me still these are the words of the forgiven this is me reaching out to you from behind the mask this is me experiencing, memories embracing me the warmth flooding over me and escaping from my eyes through tears and painting my cheeks with its love |
