opinions about this?

I just found this on a site by accident..like i always seem to do lol...kinda caught my eye and thought it was interesting...an 18 year old guy by the name of Zach wrote this...sooo I was just wondering if anyones got any opinions on what he thinks about certain things? good opinion? bad opinion?

Sleeping With Skeletons

Have the millions of spoon fed american citizens noticed something wrong yet? The stench of idiocy drifts through our independent air. We have become the slaves of freedom, fashion, and the solid american dollar. Internet features have created boundary free "chat", leaving plenty of room for sterile, impersonal, and INHUMAN communication. So in this land of freedom and bravery, we are breeding robots for a brighter, healthier generation with less of the pesky emotional flaws of this one.

We sleep with skeletons. Deep beneath the guise of freedom and independence is the demon of social behavior control. The less it costs the more we buy, the more it fucks the less we try. And here we are, with a feeling of bloated satisfaction. The lazy leaders of tommorrow have less to worry about. And yesterday slowly fades away, all the while we're anticipating the amalgamation of all cultures and races into one huge gray mass. Order a fucking pizza, kick back, and watch the goddamn ball game. There's no time left for change. Eat crackerjacks and salute the flag and praise your nation's military galavants into third world countries. Enjoy the taste of total isolation and convenience that languidly hangs from your tongue. We are all doing fine. We are all striving for the dream.

Mass suicide is the only solution. The world should all hold hands while the leaders push shiny red buttons, sending warheads screaming through the skies. And then would come eternal sleep...gratification for being forced to live in hell...beautiful, warm, isolating sleep. Nothing left to feel...just empty headed bliss. Almost like the lithium and prozac and ritalin being crammed down the hungry throats of our children.

Or we could sit. We could do a little cloud watching while the world crumbles around us. We have no coping skills left to pull from godly sources.

It's funny how people deal with the world. Some of us revert into total, fuzzy loss of motor skills through the venue of drugs and alcohol, while others go to church every sunday and pray hard for our souls in vain. A

At any rate, the world is sterile and useless. When marijauna is illegal whille it helps sooo many people in so many different ways, while ritalin and methadone and paxil and NICOTINE remain legal.

i dont' think a mass suicide is in order, but i think that the internet is destroying personal communications.

The internet has truly killed interaction between humans. In a way its sad because many would rather stay at home and communicate instead of interacting in person. However the net has allowed us to communicate with a large scale of people. With ICQ you can chat with many people at a time.

Another issue is people allowing to truly express there feelings. Sometimes being behind a screen will open people up. Freedom of Speech without consequences. For some that is a good thing.

Personally I think it just shows there a coward and are afraid of what may happen if they expressed there true feelings in person.

but what if one's internet life is just an extension of their real life? what if you actually interact with these people, not just through electronic communication?

yes! and through message boards, blogs, and such, you can "advertise" yourself and look for other people of similiar interest. this allows you to make relationships that might have never existed before.
