Do you Canadians like your weather?
Do Canadians like the cold up there? I'm down here in Florida where it's gonna be warm or even hot sometimes in the winter. But I like cold too. I haven't seen snow since I visited my grandparents in Massachusetts like 12 years ago.
A lot of Americans fuss about cold. Do you Canadians like your cold weather? I wanna go there sometime and play in the snow. :smoke1:

yes but only because it scares away the dumb americans.
actually i really do like our weather, whether it rains or not. We like our weather because we grew up with it, people that grew up in sunnier climats or what not like their weather because they most likely grew up with it. I mean i would definately like to go on vacation somewhere where it barely ever rains so i can get my share of sun, but i wouldn't be able to live there... no rain is no fun. Same with snow.

Cold weather?
Uhh, it hardly ever gets COLD in Vancouver. Yes, it gets cool in the winter, but we don't get the same COLD the rest of the country is plagued with. I'm sorry, but it's annoying when Americans always ask me that (deal with a lot of them at my job, and no, I'm not a telemarketer). We've got the same climate as say, Seattle. And most Americans, even if you live in the south, don't picture Seattle has being full of igloos and penguins (but having a lot of the latter around would kick ass!)

Heh...The Okanagan is Canada's guilty little secret. The weather here is almost always like southern California. It gets a little frigid during the winter but winter here is relatively short compared to the rest of the country.:kam:

Wow you're dumb. How do you think Americans who live in New York or Detroit, or anywhere NORTH of Florida cope? I mean do you think Floridians are the only American inhabitants or what?
Do you like living in a country where George W. Bush is the leader? Or should I say Dick Cheney? Do you like living in a country where a high school education isn't good enough to get a job at McDonald's? Do you like living in a state where drive-by shootings are an every day thing? I was being a little silly too when I posted that and I was just kidding about that only because it scares away dumb Americans thing, Sometimes saying things like I said don;t go well into text. Sorry if I offending anyone. And no, it's not animosity. I think most Canadians sound like pretty cool people.

it may be cold, but my clan came into some luck the other night. as you all know wolf pelts have been in shortage due to the severe blizzards that have been blowing from the north waste territories. well anyways, my uncle bob managed to do some fishing (yes our clan has found a new american tool that allows us to cut through the ice) and he was able to catch some. so we traded with the neighbourhood sasquatch and in return for our fish we got some wolf pelts...now we have four new blankets for our clan :).
but you know what i'm really tired of? not the snow...not the rain...not the cold...but the fact that the sun hasn't shone in the past four months...i HATE these long nights.

Weathers nice compared to other places... but we have weird thing that go around. Last christmas, we had no snow. But SPRING BREAK we DID!! HAhahahaha
oh well its like fall now... its chilly but sunny. Not THAT bad. I guess you can say I like it. -C.hO
