I can't think of anything more awful than the prospect of staying the same/alive for all of eternity.

Everyone you love will grow old, and die, while you'll stay the same.

True, I love being 18, but I'm sure I'll love every year to come just as much. Without the prospect of death, there wouldn't be much point in life. "Live each day as if it were your last", right? I want to grow up, and I want to grow old (eventually that is).

It seems to me that if you were to live forever at the same age, you wouldn't be living at all. You would have removed yourself from life, as the one basic premise of life is that everything has a beginning and everything has an end, and there's a natural progression from one to another.

fucking rights i'd jump in...there would be some people who think to themselves...why would you want to live forever? all the people that you know and love would die, but not if you take them with you...or learn to deal with the fact that they will die, and you continue.

others would say...i'd get bored living forever, i'd do everything adn then have nothing to do...my answer to that is building a spaceship and fly around discovering the universe.

i can't wait till i find the fountain of youth.
