The camera I'm getting is a Canon A-1. It's the same kind as the one I had at JB2. I'm getting a new one cause that one is no longer working properly. It'd probably cost like $200 to fix, so I'm just getting one that is in excellent condition.

Oh, I didn't know that that was you munky_no_fun. BTW advantix is suxor. You get less detail, cause there's a smaller surface area of film on each shot. Advantix is for ppl who don't care about quality and are too lazy to crop their photos.

Black's doesn't sell the kind of cameras that I'm interested in. They only sell cameras to ppl who aren't going to spend lots of money. I'm spoiled by having a top of the line model. Unfortunately the cameras that I'm interested in are $1000+
I think that skotty knows about film too.

I have a Pentax SF-10, with a 28-120 lense, a Nikon F-65 with a 28-80 lense, and a Nikon N2000 with.....................No lense. Its brings tear to my eyes. I have to use my f-65 lense, which is fully digital, which means no aperature!!!! BUHU

i haate film cameras, im not in it for the art just the mems so ill stick to my digital one... but yeah i agree with ya jonesie, the best cameras are not aps...

Okay, well it's just been confirmed. Skotty does know what he's talking about. I only know the Canon line though. I do know that Nikon is good. A 28-120 is nice cause it's versatile, but it'd be too slow a lense for my taste.
If I were in it for the memories, then digital would be the way to go for me. For the amount of $$$ I've put into film and camera stuff, I could get a sick digital camera.

No shit. The diggy cams ar top $$$$. I dont know Canon that well. All i know is that they have the most safisticated lens technology out there. I also know that an A-1 is a very good body. I was looking at a Canon Elan 7 eos. The cheapest i could get for just the body was $850. I think i am going to sell off all my equitment, and go canon. They do make some SHIT though. Like the "Rebel" serise!
