Idiots Rioting @ GnR Set this City Back...

Sometimes people just piss me off! Part of the reason Vancouver is such a 'no-fun' city is because the police hate the idea of public festivals and gatherings, fearing another Stanley Cup riot. And what do these morons do? Riot over a no-show GnR and show just how pathetic Vancouverites can be. Trust me, this will now be brought up anytimesomeone wants to have a festival or event as a reason NOT to, and will set the city back another 10 years in these things.

This was the first time I saw cops taking people down on the news and agreed with them.

I fully agree. it's not like the people aren't getting their money back, and apparently GnR are notorious for not showing up at their concerts.

It's scary to think that my buddy wanted me to do security with him. Good thing I decided to stay in!

"guns'n'roses fans have an appetite for destruction"

I don't see how it would set the city back, especially seeing as how a civic election is coming soon.

Good to see shit going down at non-rave related events. Vancouvers known for riots, are we really all that surprised? It was probably all the out of town guests (rioters) that spent $200+ on airfare/hotel to fly into Vancouver to watch them perform. Wouldn't you be pissed?
