alone for xmas
the last two xmas eves, i've spent running around with David, getting our picture taken with santa, playing in the snow, drinking eggnog and eating chocolate and falling asleep in his arms while watching xmas movies

Being alone for Christmas... is like being alone on any other day of the year. Christmas is just pushing the whole family and loved ones values straight into our faces.. or rather down our throats making most of us GAG.
However, last year I was alone for Christmas because both my parents would be working, Grandma was away on vacation, etc. and Ninja Boy ended up getting a bunch of lonely Christmas rejects together for breakfast at Denny's, then I was invited to have dinner at Claire and Max's house. In retrospect, it was probably one of the better Christmas's because I wasn't alone.

yeah..it's a christmas tradition to leave jen at home by herself..but i actually like it..it's the one day a year that i get a whole day with the house to myself..it's not a bad thing after u get use to it..=)
cuz yeah..like stabby said..it's just like any other ordindary day~

That's what they want you to think, they want you to think it's some big bad ass holiday sent from god where you go all out with the turkey, the presents, and the mother fucken' eggnog. It's the one of the days out of the year where it's "acceptable" to show your loved ones how much you care about them, it's one of the days out of the year where it's "unacceptable" to be alone.
By they, I mean the big pigs that want you to consume, buy, purchase, and waste. Oh yes, they're on to you... REBEL! REPENT!! AHH GOD, SHOULDN'T I OF LEFT MY HOUSE ALREADY??? Or something... Remember: It's okay to be alone kids.

for me, xmas is one of those holidays that my mum always made really special because my older brother died just before xmas before i was born
so i've always kept up the tradition and have made xmas special for me and the people around me i'm not as upset about being alone for xmas eve... it's more just not having that special someone there to share it with me he might have been a grinch, but somehow i managed to get the spirit of xmas out of him two years in a row :)
