how often do you have to go to clubs/parties before you become a bonafide scenewhore?

my take on the raver cycle (scensters included)

you goto your very first rave, pop a tab of ecstamassy and you feel like you've found a new heaven
after 3-5 parties you'LL realize whats a good party and whats a shitty party
around roughly 6-10 months after partying youLL realize that you're sick of the ecstamassy and you'd rather try partying sober.
after 5-8 months of partying sober youLL realize that etards, junglists, kandy kids, dirty ravers etc annoy the hell outta your sober eyes

so at this point on you either quit going to parties or become a scenester, critiquing everything about the scene you've learnt to love from the amazing experiences you've had the in the past. first off you can be a stupid scenester, having really nothing to complain about but junglists, kandy kids etc etc, thinking they are what destroy the scene. then theres comes the promoter scenester, dissing every local promoter for trying to make a dollar or two from their big rave party, telling people not to goto their parties for this that reason blah blah. then theres the music scenester, who critiques the music to hell! then theres the web forum scenester who will put reality to into all you stupid ravers and make you cry in front of your computer. but most scenesters are all of these combined but they all have their speciality

then after say 1-3 years of being a scenester, you finally realize how pathetic you are for being a big party pooper, not only to alotta other people but mainly yourself. think about all the fun you've been missing out! so then here comes the next phase. you either quit partying once and for all (oh i know its tough the addiction is horrible there should be a raversaholics annonymous for fuck sake) OR you try to really contribute all you've learnt from being a party poopin scenster and try to make the scene what you really want it to be. you either take up promoting, djing, producing blah blah etc etc... and make an effort to turn things around.

and from then on, you're doomed into the rave scene for many many many many more years to come =)

I thought a scenester was more like a scene whore than anything. Those that don't know much about the scene, but prefer the company of djs and promoters, name dropping, etc.

as for a scene whore.. ummm.. I would think its some one the thats at like every party, just to involved in the scene.. like sure some people are involved.. but I mean those people that eat, breath, dream raves..
