man work sucked today due to lack of sleep, but it was worth staying up untill 2 am to watch louie slam the door on the stars in 4 overtime periods!

luongo finally got playoff cherry popped, but he was unstoppable!

I definitely agree. Luongo is the man. I was watching Burrows while it happened and I don't know why he didn't draw a penalty. He was dazed for a full 40 seconds and tried to make it. dropped his stick and stumbled the rest of the way.

The hilarious play was in 4th OT and the refs weren't calling a single thing. so the elbows and hookings came out in full force. Morrison got a Star stick stuck through the net and between the gap in this skate and boot. so he was cuffed to the net! An incoming shot came in and you could see him panick and cover his face. sort of scary.

Naslund was on fire the whole night and definitely played more physical than I'm used to seeing. You can't take away anything from Loungo though, he might as well have been the only Canuck on the ice for the first and second over times and all said faced nearly 80 shots on goal. I also felt bad for Burrows, he got his bell seriously rung, I really think he had no idea where he was after that hit. Bieksa was awesome minus taking 4 penalties, which he just can't do on the regular.

at first I was yelling at the refs for not calling penalties but after a while I just started laughing. basically it was pond hockey, there might have been 4 or 5 stops in play the entire 4th overtime.
