girls: do u dress up and or wear makeup to school??

i kinda think girls who dress up for school look more ridic than girls in sweat pants maybe im trying to make myself feel better i dont know

I usually just put on a light foundation of MAC Sheer, emulsion, powder-based and hi-tech formulas offering sheer coverage.

after that I try to highlight my eyes with a Kohl-based, liquid liner...then some ruby red lipstick with a highgloss lip glass for pizzazz and i'm out the door.

For work the most I wear is mascara and lip balm.

jeans and t on normal occasions, a lil dressy for presentation days. make up all the time... i have really bad skin, and i feel really self concious without make up... its more a psychological thing then "i want to look glam" thing.

i want to start a thread about face cleansers/mask/acne meds...but no sure where to start it. if anyone has any good advice please pm me.. my skin is getting gross and i cant afford to go to the derma.

I would dress up for school every once and a while. I ususally did it when I needed to break in a new pair of heels.
I think it's redic the girls that are all dressed up and at the mall shopping.

It really depends on your course. My cousin took a "legal assistant' course and the teacher requested business attire.

I wear eye makeup every single day.(no foundation or coverup - just eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner) It's how I am most comfortable. I dont look like a hooker but I dont look like I washed my face and went to work ;D

I do this as well on most days, but when I don't have time I dont fret about it.

My usual attire is a little more formal than most people, some may call it dressing up, but I like dress shirts and jackets.

I have 3 teenaged sisters, one dresses nice an doesnt wear any make up, one dresses nice and wears a lot of make up and one dresses comfortable and wears no make up

but all of the, like to straighten their hair...I don't know what this has to do with the thread but I'm sure it will help somehow

I don't go to school but I almost never leave the house w/out makeup. Only exceptions are the gym, tanning salon, and occasionally bank or grocery store. I don't feel comfortable w/out makeup - usually I wear foundation, a bit of cover, eyeliner, shadow, mascara and blush. But keep in mind I'm a makeup master so it never really looks like I'm wearing much and it takes me 10 mins tops.

from grade 7 to grade 10 I NEVER left the house without makeup on. AT LEAST wearin eye liner, mascara.

By grade 11 through grade 12 I said fuck it, who cares? I am too lazy, and rather sleep in for half an hour longer then to make myself look good. Its just highschool.
