OK. It's Officially Spring, Now...
I just zapped my first housefly of the year.
It's been a long time since the critters were around (read: winter), so it startled me when it flew past my face. So, I grabbed my handy-dandy, li'l badminton-racket-looking zapper and SMOKED the fucker!!! Little fruit flies are fun to zap because they're easy targets (slow-fliers), and small, so when you get them, there's a little spark, a *snap*, and a li'l puff of smoke. FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!! But, those big suckers (the ones about the size of your thumbnail)? They're TOUGH! One electrical swat just isn't enough for these monsters. You've got to zap him just for a stun, then _cook_ the stinkin' thing, just like a bad electric-chair execution scene. You've really got to sizzle it, complete with a rising column of smoke! Even then, you'd be best to quickly flush it, just to make sure. So, folks! Run on out to your favourite gadget/dollar/outdoor store, NOW, and get your bug-zappers, TODAY! You're gonna need them.... Frosty (goes to buy fresh batteries)

ehehe I got a handsfree one.. my halogen lamp! Last night the first moth Ive seen this year flew in my window, fluttered around a bit, went to check out the light and then POOF
Those zappers are great for taking down big fuckin spiders... much more satisfying than just stepping on them.

Spring?
Dude, we're like 2 weeks away from Summer proper. Early to mid-May we can start to be roaming the streets in t-shirts at night. I don't care what anyone says. Time for summer outdoor parties is a couple weeks away. Early this year I'm betting too!
