Addiction is definitely an interesting topic. Especially since many of us experience it first or second hand sometime in our party life. It's more that they take somebody's very personal issue and exploit it. The worst part of it is that these people agree to it. I mean, come on. How sad is that?

It's no different than sitting in front of a television watching Entertainment Tonight finding out which celebrities haven't been sleeping in the same bed lately.

I realize that these people are fucked but they still do consent to being filmed...
also, there are a lot of ignorant people in the world and this show may help to let them see that drug addicts are not monsters

I know these people say they do it so that maybe others in their shoes can get through it too but I remember being heavy into blow and thinking "I'm glad I don't have a problem with it like THAT guy."

An intervention should be a personal issue. Nobody outside of the people involved need to know. If you need a camera crew to follow you and your family around as you do this, then I doubt you are giving it the consideration that it needs.
