Whats with the American teams that have empty seats at their home games? Not to mention there is no real excitement or cheer compared the the Canadian teams. I dont know why American team owners dont invest in more Canadian teams. Than again, I dont think this city could handle its self if we ever did win the cup.

The reffing was bullshit... it is so hit and miss. I understand you let things go in the playoffs but you cant just turn it off on as you see fit, allow goals that have been disallowed in other series. It would have been awesome to see them continue on but at the same time they did not play like they wanted to win, except for maybe a handful of players Luongo being the most obvious one. To bad he let his guard down there at the end but really, without him that game would have been over in the first period.

ok ummm to the people who gave me bad karma I dunno why you did but you have to look at the honest facts here...

The hit was absolutely clean, he shouldn't of been playing like eric lindros with playing with your head down otherwise you get ROCKED.

Roberto needs to mind his own fuckin business and focus on the game instead of focusing on a linesman that is far away from that play to see if they call a penalty. Come on people the shot was from the blue line and it was hardly a slap shot.

He just cost the canucks the series. First was trying to playing the puck behind the net a few nights ago only to give the puck away to them. Literally gave them an open door... And then tonight....

The difference between Cloutier and Roberto is that Cloutier sucked.... Roberto is a stupid idiot.

You just can't do these god damn things during the playoffs and he did it twice and cost the canucks to lose it.

He should apologize to the organization as well as the fans.

At the same time the team needs to also put there head on there shoulders and stop creating unnecessary power plays. It seems like every game the first 5 minutes of the first period they end up getting penalties on a regular basis. you simply can't afford that to happen anymore.

It just wasn't 1 mistake it was the 2nd major mistake. The first mistake was the other night when he got out of his net to try and play the puck. He gave it away. That fuckup cost the canucks the game. If he wouldn't of given that one away the series could of been completely different at this point. As per the team itself... you can blame the team as much as you want but ultimately in the end the person that stops the puck from going into the net is the goalie. And when you have a goalie that essentially gives an open net away or decides to see if a lines man is doing there job when the goalie should of his eye's on the puck.

Face it the team is in the same area as they were last season. They have a different goalie. So what are you implying then should the canucks get rid of the sedin's??? ohlund??? naslund??? linden??? or how about burrows or pyatt??? That would be insane. ALL EYES were on the hit against Jannick. Including the cameras. Everyone watching the game in my house was just as bewildered by the goal as Niedermayer was. That should have been a penalty.

Luongo is the ONLY reason we made it as far as we did. Imagine having to carry a shit team by yourself for an entire season.

Trust me man.... I played ice hockey for 10 years, you are out to lunch on this one. If they gave up Luongo, they'd be a BOTTOM feeder.. no doubt about it. Don't forget this is his first playoffs ever, and was likely tired/stressed as fuck playing the most minutes of any goalie in the playoffs to current position/date. he made a couple mistakes..... woopdy do. Ultimately the team isn't really that great right now, they didn't have much intensity at all. Can you remember the COUNTLESS highlight reel saves he made game in game out to get us this far?! Probably not I assume.. What does the team need? OFFENSE.. instead of a bunch of journeyman. keep sedins/pyatt/cooke etc .. but naslund? meh, streaky/flakey. we need 2 solid FWD lines with chemistry, not just a bunch of spur of the moment Vignault specialties heading out at any given time..

anyway I could go on, but I'll leave it at that.

it has to do with the fact that hockey is the main sport up here in canada, Football is where all the money lies in the US

you won't see many empty football seats in the US especially during superbowl... and the football stadiums are massive!
