I just wanted to say thanks for writing "Big R" behind the ticket to prove that it was actually in your possesion and that you didn't make up this huge lie that you were buying one... so that you would look cool.. including your "who wants to stand in line thread etc"

if you didn't write Big R, i would have totally thought you were lying... because i can't even fathom how somebody could get 85 dollars to buy a ticket... unless they were the son of som oil tycoon that happened to listen to tiesto... and then told his dad that he would kill himself if he didn't buy him a ticket to tiesto... so his dad mortgaged his billion dollar house to get him a ticket.

It was a serious post... in the other thread asking who wants to wait in line with him, people were talking a lot of shit because he likes tiesto.. which isn't cool. I thought this whole thing was about listening to the music you enjoy..

What the heck, how many floor tickets actually went on sale today anyway? Where did this 4 minute figure come from? This is ridiculous. I phoned ticketmaster at 12, and was at the GM place box office before 12:!5 and there were no floor tickets. What, was there like a couple hundred tickets? How many did clubzone buy up? Kinda seems like clubzone is playing the part of corporate scale ticket scalper if you ask me. :evil: Now they want $160!?! What for! Are they rendering a service or just screwing us over! I love Tiesto shows, they are a blast, but this is ridiculous. I paid 2.5 times retail for the last show at the commodore, and that "only" came to 125. I don't think I can justify $160, actually 170.85 after a "service charge" (you've got to be kidding me) for one ticket. That's for spoiled rich kids with pimped out luxury cars and expensive designer drugs.

An example of why I never liked hearing the music I listened to in the mainstream: TV, movies, clothing stores, trendy restaurants. It spells imminent disaster. I guess it's all over.

I commend you on the attitude, but what I don't get is why do people always say "I used to listen to honky trance breaks, but now I listen to black psy-pop" like they only have room on their musical palette for one genre. I was just rocking out to some jungle on my way home on my lunch break and on my way back I listened to some progressive house. Then I went into my wash bay and threw on some Deep Purple and Tragically Hip and listened to some trip-hop on my way home to wind down. It's all about diversity man. I learnt that lesson long ago.
