Curse of King Clancy

King Clancy was a defenceman for the Ottawa Senators, back when Ottawa last won the Stanley Cup (1927)

In 1930 King Clancy was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, he was so mad he said this:

"Mark my words! I will be dead for at least 20 years before they lift that cup again!"

Thus starting the curse of King Clancy, Ottawa never won another cup.

He died in 1986 and Ottawa looks to be on the verge of the Stanley cup!

The scene on Parlement Hill after the game. Ya, they are all badly out of tune, but their all blitzed so its ok.

"Sens Mile", aka Elgin St. They had to shut it down on Saturday after the game.
