Where to get a custom workbench made?

I need a custom workbench for a new machine that just arrived at my work.

It needs to be made from steel, must weigh at least 250lbs, and it cannot shake or vibrate from the machine's engine. The size should be about 381/2 inches long, 221/2 inches wide, and 341/2 inches tall.

I'm looking for a manufacturing company in the Yellow Pages now but I'm not quite sure which category to look under for this type of a task. Would it be under engineering or manufacturing?

should be under manufacturing.... essentially a metal fabrication shop...

I know some people who work in metal fabrication shops so I'll put a word out to you.... But like anything though it would be expesive especially when it comes down to how precise you need it to be considering what you guys are doing over there where you certainly don't need any vibration and such... When ever one go's to weld it produces heat that can warp the metal. A true professional will know what type of amp's will be needed to ensure that the welds are strong enough without any type of warping or shit. There are alot of shops out there and like anywhere you have shitty work and you have good work.

For what you guys are doing you CANNOT afford poor workmanship then can eventually put you guys out in the numbers of thousands of dollars along with a pissed off client... So really you get what you pay for... oh and if you find a shop you may want to tour it and see what type of work they have done so you have an idea as to what type of quality fabrications they do.

for what they are using it for I don't think wood would be even considered as an option considering the size of the motor and all that they are using. Besides he's looking for a place to make the work benches just like the one's they have right now....
