Ok... I already asked someone this but I need clarification. The whole point of these things is just to see if the person will poke back?

NOTHING ELSE?

It's a vicious little circle and nothing more?

It's basically like the 'Song That Never Ends' of the internet?

I use it sometimes as a way of finding out if I know the person. Sometimes you look up a name but the person doesn't have a clear photo and you don't want to seem like some random creeper just adding them, so you poke them. If they poke back you can see there profile and know for sure.

Otherwise it's just an annoying game. I get poked by the same person, it's become a war and it's on. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to win, but we have been at it for at least 2 months now.
