it's pretty interesting... the first thing that comes to mind is the iphone though. Very similar multi-touch technology. You can zoom in on pictures with the iphone with two fingers as well. I wonder where all the IP lies.

I remember reading about this thing months back and seeing a crazy zoom-in type demo.

Good on Microsoft for jumping on the technology, though with them stretching their IP all over the place it's gotten pretty ridiculous to deal with that company. Pretty consistent display of the left hand having no clue what the right hand is doing. I guess that's what they consider "synergy" or something.

sort of cool, but limited so far. if the user was to wear some type of glove to add sharp points to their fingers then i could see the interface being used for more practicle things such as drawing in autocad or 3dsmax. With just finger point accuracy it is slightly gimmiky.
