Ive got land out in Nova Scotia, and my aunt and uncle are major owners in Toronto and do very well with real estate.

yes.

the thing is i run trust operations for alot of mortgage investment and private companies and i cant understand why anyone would invest in them, they're shit and you can get a similar return with much less risk even by just buying a REIT like riocan.

im not saying real estate isnt a good investment, its a very good investment and you can make enormous amounts of money with it but i think alot of people under estimate the risk of RE as an investment.
