because im having a hard time deciding which to get...

:sick: I don't like Havs...I don't find them even remotely comfortable. The piece between the toe rubs my skin raw. They always get worn funny, and compress after time. They look cheap too.

I posted the canadian site on the first page of this thread. that might be more helpful since we're all canadian, but I know before there was a canadian site, I frequented the brazilian site, but didn't actually want to have anyhting shipped internationally.

Good god. I have never had sore feet from them! In fact, I'm pretty sure they are the only "shoes" ever that do not hurt my feet!

To answer the original question, get brown! I have 9 or 10 pairs and I looooove them. I need to invest in a pair of navy :)

Even if the havs are uncomfortable, those columbia ones are not very attractive.

The trick with the piece that goes between the toe is to file it down with a nail file. It can sometimes be a bit rough from the plasic seams, so if you file down the seams you should be good to go!

do you ladies get the solid color ones, or the ones with the white footbed?

the ones with the white footbed would seem to me like they would get dirty really fast.

I usually buy a new pair of white ones every summer, either plain white or the brazilian flag ones. the white goes with a lot in the summer, but don't last long because they get dirty easily. They can easily wash to look decent but won't last more than a summer of heavy flip flop wearing (and I hope it's going to be one of those summers)

I've got brown ones too and I agree with nev, they are great.

yep, two weeks ago I went to vegas for the weekend and it was so hot out that I spent every moment in them, by the last day I could barely walk and the spot between my toes was so red and raw I spend the first day back home soaking them.

lol i think im the only one that doesnt own havs.. im all about my 4 dollar old navy flipflops..they fit so well and get so comfy..and cheap enough for me to buy every single color and replace white ones every year. havs are comfy no doubt, but ON ones does the job for me.

lysol spray cleaner or mr.clean and a scrub brush do wonders on dirty havs.
my white ones are 3 or 4 years old and still sparkle.
