Definately an afterhours party on the beach, I came across
it after hearing about it down at Lotus on Friday night.
I didn't really know much about it though.
Some friends were goin,
so we all piled in the car and headed down.

Just wondering if anyone else had any info on it.
Like who was responsible for throwin it down
and makin the music.
Haha.

Alotta people where there, it was goodtimes.
Although I was dirt tired.

Anyways.
Was just wondering what was up with that.

me and 10-15 of my friends were at the electro stage.. it's always a good time... cept for the fact that i got G'd... my bad for drinking booze out of someone elses drink

they have been having beach parties for years there. chances are they will do it again this sat.(every summer it goes down, since 1997(and prob b4).)

You mean you haven’t been getting everyday face book and txt messages about it???

It's pretty awesome what they do as the crowed that shows up is usually 19+, drinking discretely, and they clean up after them self’s. Once in a while either the cops come by and shut it down or the tow trucks take your car away. It's all done word of mouth and sometimes they ask for a donation. I love checking them out a few times during the summer and experience the sun rising on the beach :)

Update...

So apparently the crew is being taken to court. The cops appeared at the last party and "took out the big guns". Unless they can prove to the court that what they are doing is ok... there wont be any more parties for a long time/ever.

I wouldn't doubt it that that is what the cops said, but last I remember, we're innocent until proven guilty; the pigs have to prove what they're doing is illegal. IANAL, but off the top of my head, I can't think of anything illegal that they're doing (although I'm not really up to date on Vancouver bylaws). Anyone else care to elaborate?
