Ahaha, I read this earlier today. First pet food, then toothpaste, now cardboard bread. This is why I dont eat shit(literally) made in China.

This could be a hit to their economy if they dont start cleaning up fast.

Easy to believe that a reporter's attempt at creating a ratings bonanza would get "urban legend" legs and be repeated as gospel worldwide, regardless of authenticity.

Also easy to believe that a legit expose would quickly be surpressed by an authoritarian Chinese gov't panicked about a poor reputation in the international community, especially with the 08 Beijing Olympics approaching.

Either way.. you buy off dirty, shirtless street vendors, you roll the dice :D

Hey so you are trying to rebuke my argument with more hear-say. You dont know for sure if that is what really happened. Obviously stamping out this coverage is in Chinas best interest. I just threw that up there to continue on with the story and to propose that maybe this news piece was caught in the hype, the not so obvious side.

Everytime stories like this surface you always have a string of bullshit that follows. It is quite possible that the reporter was acting in self-interest just as much as the government, both of us do not know, so why you gotta be a dick about it?
