Shaw or Telus??? who is better for internet??

can't stand telus's service.... especially the automated things!!! so frustrating!!

i think it depends on the area...


i'm with shaw right now in east van, we've got wireless, sometimes it's fine, sometimes it doesn't work, and it could get annoying... i 'd have to restart the modem

for the record i also hate the automated service as well.. but if you just say agent it will bring you straight to an operator/technician

hmmm, very undecided right now. ive had telus at my parents house for years and it seems just fine, always connected, good speeds, the service has been fine. but many of you say shaw is the way to go.

with telus you get a dedicated line? shaw you share with others around you? i would rather have my own line, but maybe its not that big a deal.

can you download at 1300k/sec with telus? me thinks no.

with telus yes your on a dedicated line but its capped hardcore.

shaw your on a shared node but its still quicker then your 'dedicated line' that telus gives you.

nope, the max speed ive seen on my comp is 200k/s

I'm on Shaw Extreme, I've capped somewhere around 600k with torrents. On average from most major download pages I get upwards of 100k though.
