The last days of summer

It's a beautiful thing, isn't it? And as far as silver linings go, the fact that we've had plenty of drizzle this summer means we can enjoy these dry days without talk of water restrictions, droughts, etc.

So assuming this forecast holds true (and we all pray that it will), how are you going to make the most of your remaining summer days?

Personally, I have a couple of friends visiting that I haven't seen in ages, and on Saturday I'll be trekking out to Alder-fucking-grove to enjoy a BBQ with my co-workers, who are basically my best co workers ever. Also I'll be taking my mom to Bard on the Beach.

Wow.. those are some very adult and respectable things. Hopefully other people have more crazy shit going on than I do :cheesy:

PPS ----> oh btw may be going to NY in Sept to see Underworld in Central Park. :o

Why not just buy one those shirts that say VOLUNTEER, in big bold letters, and then just grab a bin from a food drive and act like you're putting it somewhere else..

and then have like 3-4 escalades with all tinted windows wait for you around back... and then go into the escalades.. and take it home.

if you're wondering why you need 3-4 tinted escalades for this operation... you don't... but any day you can incorporate a tinted SUV convoy into your daily errands is a good day

My summer is as follows: (aside from my usual monday-friday 9-5 job)

Thursday Aug 23 - PNE with my aunty and cousins..should be fun..especially since I dont have to pay!

Saturday Aug 25 - I got a table at a random church yard sale..Never done this before..but I have lots of stuff to get rid of!

Saurday Night Aug 25 - Sister's Stag..low key since shes preggo.

Thursday/Friday Aug 30/31 - Wedding prep (Decorating, mani/pedi etc...)

Saturday September 1 - Sister's wedding!! Im the maid of honour so im super excited!!

Sunday/Mon/Tues Sept 2/3/4 - Camping in lillouet? Nothing but tubing, suntanning and eating!!

Wednesday Sept 5th - My nephews first day of school! SOOO excited..and sad =(

And hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a weekend trip to Kamloops to visit my best friend sometime before the sunshine fades..
