Like I said in my own personal opinion, because of what I've seen in all my glory years, is that to alot of people my self included they've been around for years and for various purposes...one example say I was helping a family member to paint some thing and didn't want to inhale various types of chemicals but had no mask...some thing of formidable size such as a bandana would help a little, or say for some un likely reason some one wanted to remain anonymous... a bandana would be a sufficient item to use because it just fits. I've "rocked" that "look" for years, and I will "rock" that "look" for years to come. You can GTFO now, thanks.

yea i cant see myself ditchin my bandanas. EVERY time i wear them, they come in handy. EVERY SINGLE TIME

last saturday, it prevented ALOT of beer from getting on my summer break t shirt... its spotless after a good 10 shotgunned beer....


then after i took a "rocky mountain bear fucker", i tossed, and it again saved me form getting puke on my clothes. i wiped my face with it and changed bandanas.

not to mention i shot the sheriff, but i didnt shoot his deputy, and nobody knew the diff cause my bandanas saved me.

Actually LEEROY the hardcore kids (as in hardcore punk, metal and the like) were doing this long before the junglists picked up on it. Of course they also wildly spin their fists and do spinning back kicks in the pit so I wouldn't really count on them for smart choices. :)

One time as a young teen skateboarding I actually had a red bandanna that I had in my pocket and it was sorta hanging out and I was skating downhill and some dudes in a lowrider saw me and looked at me all funny so I just smiled and looked the other way and then they chucked an empty beer bottle at me (and missed) and got all hardcore (they were all white) and they like tried to pull over but were on a busy street and I just cut through a parking lot and that ended my adventures with bandannas.

This thread can be summed up in the following:
