last time i checked, electronic music was about fun dance music and to have a good time.. not a status symbol.. unless that's the case for you? in which case i should point you to the rap scene where that kind of egotistical crap belongs

you may not hear it at a club, but what about when you're chillin out around the house? or on a bus?

Not every electronic song has to have hard beats, or something to dance to at a club... part of the fun of electronic music is that no one is limited by that, and the producers and writers aren't either

lost their passion for fun music? you speak like you're from industrial germany where they only listen to tunnel trance force vol 605. dnb music has always been fun to listen to, that also depends on the dj's overall style. dj's that drop hard tunes too often need to ease up anyways because with so much electronic music out there, you can do it all and still rock the house without dropping a full set of death&bass... saying that, if you want your set to be a kumbaya sing-along that's great, but i would assume most people don't want to jam to some fluffy remix that they've heard on the radio a million times. electronic music to most is an escape from that non-sene.
