i think gang related in this case is more like hells angels than "wanna be gangsta". xtreme couture is randy couture's (from ufc) clothing line and affliction describes themselves as "the premier label for men who love hard rock and fast living". lol.

wow... I got a story for you guys! As many of you know, I am frequently outside the clubs doing flyer promotion with my crew... well last Saturday we were outside the red room - the cops always come by around 2:30 and check the club out. We asked the bouncers why they always come and the bouncers told us about this program you are all currently discussing in this thread... They never said it was based on clothing nor do I think they know that. The three of us promoting figured it was more of "if your a known gangster or trouble maker and your spotted in the club"... then the cops can hall you out - or if you do something in the club or look real fishy... Which is totally cool by me... We saw a guy get dragged out - he didn't look all that hardcore or gangster, maybe just a bit of a shit head or very drunk. He was wearing average baggy jeans, skate shoes, black shirt and zip up hoddie (from what i saw). They threw him over the cop car and his baggy pants eventually fell down... the cops left him with his pants around his ankles for at least as long as we had noticed... they were still down when we turned away from the commotion anyways. They were searching him like crazy and throwing him around a bit! We thought he must have been known by the cops or somethin... BUT Basically this thread makes me think he could have been a regular party guy like the rest of us and singled out for who knows what, then made a total ass of. oh and I was watchin the news and they were saying some cities are currently proposing to ban baggy pants as it represents violence, I can't remember which cities though - I think it was news channel from the states. |

no offense, but what makes you think the bouncers were talking about this same program then? by your description they said it wasn't based on clothing and the guy wasn't wearing the stuff they are trying to ban. sounds like something different.
