I think this is pretty unrealistic. It wouldn't benefit the US because it wouldn't be as easy for them to exploit cheap Mexican labor, goods, etc.. I hear a lot of talk but I don't see it happening, IMO.

they just need the right catalyst to justify it. the nazi's used the burning of the reichstag. the US just used terrorism to bring about the patriot act. ten years ago i imagine most people would have said the same thing about the patriot act that a lot of people are saying now about the amerodollar / north american union. i'm not saying it's going to happen, but it's really not that far fetched, relatively speaking.

the scary thing is that people like bush need to either let these major events happen, or make sure they do, for their plans to be successful.
