did anyone catch this?
i was completely outraged
the front cover is of a poor homeless man and his dog and he's being accused of feeding his dog weed. There's no solid evidence except some manager who "knows the smell of marijuanna". This dog is all this man has and he takes care of it. They even wrote where he lives outside and took pictures of the guy.
Just take a look around the wrold there is way more important issues they should be focusing on.

maybe his dog has an illness and the man is medicating the poor animal with the only medication he can afford.

It maybe far fetched, but I bet a street person would have a much easier time acquriing marijuana than legal veterinarian perscribed pet meds.

Exactly.. I don't think a poor guy like him would waste his weed on the dog just to get it high also to have a good laugh.

It is possible about the illness part considering the dog is outdoors 24/7 licking + eating dirty stuff w/ bacteria, and without any shots taken from a doctor beforehand.

yeah, when i pick bottles all day to scrape together $10-20 i like to not eat so i can save up for a few days to feed my dog drugs that probably wouldn't get him/her high and is just generally completely harmless and more importantly pointless for everyone involved.

im a dog owner. dogs are serious buisness. people have tv,work,friends but all a dog has and depends on is its owner.

so,if this fucking peice of shit bum is being as iresponisble with this animal like he has been with his life then they should take the dog away.

why are people bums now anyways? my tax dollars pays for every oprotunity they have to get back on feet.

WOW.......fucking peice of shit bum? do u know him? do u know his life circumstances? Because he's been "irresponsible with his life" you think that automatically means he's gonna be a bad pet owner? Maybe if he was injecting the dog with heroin you'de have something. But even if it is true i'm pretty sure inhaling smoke from the joint can't be that harmful to the animal..and who is this fucking manager on his high horse why is his story so legit? because he wears a suit?

Oh, and, BTW extensive studies on prolonged Marijuana use have found conclusive links to Psychosis(who wants a psychotic dog?), Paranoid Schizophrenia, and Manic Depression. british studies have also concluded that Marijuana use is far more harmful than tobacco or MDMA. So you can take your 'Marijuana isn't that harmful' comment and inhale it back into your drugged out lungs.

Oh and btw, there is little to no excuse for someone to be homeless in Canada other than they're a failure at life. I know people who have experienced horrific up bringings and still been successfull. I know others that have been given every opportuinty in nlife and have still failed. The fact remains that regardless of your upbringing, if you're Canadian you have a chance. You might have to try a little harder but you have a chance. If you don't make it in Canada, no matter what you went through, you have failed at life.

Now, on the other hand, I do have sympathy for people in lesser countries that haven't been afforded the opportuinities I have. realistically most people on this planet never even had a fighting chance. That is sad. The extremely poor and homeless in first world nations are just pathetic.
