NEEDED: 1 blow dry model.

Here's the deal.
I'm a trained stylist that needs a model for Wednesday evening for an advanced
class.
In this class we'll be going over advanced blow drying techniques


no cut, no color


_____preferred style: I would like to have is something
similar to a bob.
with no curl, not tons of chemical damage, medium density, medium texture
Or basically something that isnt too long. Smoothness.

The class will be in Yaletown, Wednesday. December 5th evening.

Willing to negotiate $ to cover gas costs, if needed.

It'll be fun! I'll make you sexy

Especially with a "bob cut" ... there's only so many ways you can blowdry and style that type of cut without it looking hideous...I don't see how "advanced" these techniques will be if you're going for an easy style to work with...see if you can achieve these techniques on ANY head of hair , then call yourself a true stylist ;)

no after she passes her class she can call herself a true stylist, then she can work on the pride aspect of being a professional :)

I could essentially do the blow dry on any type of hair.

It's just that usually people with curyl, coarse, and thick hair would not get there
hair styled in a bob above the shoulders.
I mean, maybe they would.
But it would probably end up looking like something similiar to mushroom.

I'm just asking for what was asked of me by the instructor.
No need to attack me, or bash my styling skills.
I'm just searching for a model.
Mine bailed on me yesterday, than I got someone else lined up and they
just called me this morning and cancelled.

The class is tonight.
I'm desperately searching for someone.

You're just looking for excuses to argue now.

I know plenty of people that have gone to Blanche Mac or some reasonable facsimile that have randomly advertised for heads on internet forums. Heck, I got to model for one! Got paid like 40 bills for a couple hours of sitting and chatting. Kinda like getting your hair done except they tip you.

Most students can't afford to go and hire a professional hair model to style them properly for their classes/tests. They're too busy spending their money on supplies and classes. Random internet strangers can be an excellent resource.

Jomama - I didnt know thats what the instructor specifically asked. When I did my stylist course , we were given the option of what type of hair we wanted to work with , and I know a few of the girls opted for the easiest head of hair they could find just so they could pass without the effort...

But what the teacher says is what the teacher wants , ya?

I see where you're coming from,
however. I've already completed my course of 1500 hours and
got my cred as a stylist.

Now I am on to advanced training, working with styles and techniques
that would be used in such things as photo shoots and shows
(working with real models) etc.
And we most definetly do encounter some difficult hair types.
But it wouldn't make sense to try to learn a new technique on
something 3x as hard.
You're just setting yourself up for frustration.

ANYWAYS.
I found a model guys.
Last night was a complete success,
no thanks to any of you.

I'll be searching for new models in the New Year.
