Heh. Doesn't help that they use the language word with the picture of the bird.

Pigeon = What you feed in Trafalgar Square.
Pidgin = An immigrant's version of a foreign language.

People who speak a pidgin and raise their children in the foreign language have kids that develop what is called a "creole", like Quebec or Louisiana French. A pidgin language lasts one generation, and all subsequent generations speak the creole.
