What the hell happened to 2007?.... Christ that was a fast year...
Anyways, 2008 is right around the corner.
What changes do you predict that the city will see in music/club/rave culture?

I think electro will stay at the same level where it is right now. Same thing go's for Breaks.
Drum and Bass on the other hand will continue to fade away. However I have a sense that there will be a few locals
that will step up there production and have there tunes released on major labels and be recognized on an international scale (this does not include the current dnb artists that we all know that come from this city).
Dubstep rolled into 2007 with fury... 2008 will be another crazy year with more show's.
I have a feeling that Grime will begin to make a pressence but its not gonna be anything major.

I think we will see another major record shop closing in 2008 and also the closure of probably one of the oldest surviving record shops in the city.

PNE raves will remain the same. The same artists year after year with the same material. No changes there at all.

New venue's to be used late 2008/2009?

Plush and Cyber will be gone (everyone knows that)
But I have a bad feeling that Lotus will end up closing its door's.


Sure I'm probably talking out of my ass on some of these, but again its just my prediction :P
