HELP......stolen purse=no tickets :(

so i had my purse stolen from my office.

i had purchased dj shadow tickets in december. i put them on willcall at commodore. well i no longer have that credit card 'cause it was in my purse. and i don't have any id saying that i am me. i have a birth certificate and i have a couple things i am waiting for in the mail so i can go get a new license but i highly doubt i will have picture id for the show.

i mean is heartbreaking enough that i can't go to the show but to be out $200 in unused tickets is fucking kick to the face.

anyone ever had this happen?? or have any ideas on what i can do. oh, if you figure this out......i also have 3 tickets for sale.

do you have the ticket number(s)?

report them to the RCMP and they will scan each ticket at the door for those numbers. and the person will be found!

i had them on willcall......which is when you pick them up at the door with the credit card you purchased them with. i don't have the credit card or id :(

WOW i just totally failed...

you can get a rush on a passport for ID. it will be around 80 bucks and takes less than 5 days

When my Kanye West tix were stolen I called Ticket master and they put replacement tickets at the Will Call window for me. No problem. Im sure they can do something in regards to your stolen credit card too. just call and talk to them dear. theyre really nice

i'd call ticket master and explain what happened... maybe u can bring in like a credit card statement to prove it is you... but i'm sure they have a solution to every problem if you call them <3

i can't even transfer the tickets without the original credit card number. it was a newer card, i haven't received any statements and the account has since been closed. capital one is saying they can't give me the number over the phone and that unless i have it written down somewhere than theres nothing they can do. i asked to receive a duplicate statement and they said they can't do it since the account is now closed.

i can't go to my bank to get the information 'cause i need photo id to retrieve bank information. and my online banking has since been cancelled due to the stolen debit card.

i officially have to admit defeat.

p.s. sorry kam......guess you have to hope for door tickets :(

ahahahahahaha. after all that. hahahahahha. i even went to my bank in person and they wouldn't do anything for me with a birth certificate and i call them and they gave me the credit card number over the phone with only my address as a security question. LOLZZZZ

id suggest throwing a huge tempertantrum and getting management on the phone or in the bank(creditcard). you would be surprised how quick they change the rules! ive seen my cousin do it b4 lol. you just have to be agressive...true story. i have done it myself too

they are only doing it for security resons to protect you. go in with mail, and ANY id you have...old library cards, bank statements, gym meberships, go cards anything you might have from b4 that has your name on it.

i would also make sure to report this to the police and to equifax;) cover your ass for anything that might come up in the future regarding your credit and fraud

That's really scary that they gave you that information. I work for visa and we are never aloud to give card numbers out, no matter how pissed someone gets. We'd get talked to or even fired if we did that.

^it was a closed account, which would mean it was inactive

she just needed the number so that she can pickup tickets that she had already purchased with the missing card.

All you need to get a new license is a birth certificate and a piece of mail with the address ICBC has on file. They have your picture on file, they'll know it's you... Then about a week later, you got picture ID again.

and for the future sometimes if you lose a card and it's an emergency your bank can send you a card in 3 days or maybe even less. When i got jacked in Rome they had a temp card sent the following week.

It doesn't matter if it was a close account or not, at the bank I work for, we are not aloud to give any acct numbers out over the phone.
